Dungarees - Thrifted from Rokit London
Shirt - Japan
Tights - DIY
Shoes - k-styleme.com

A very belated post, I took these pictures during the brisker months, which explains the black tights and sweater - things I could never wear in this excruciating Hong Kong heat. Lately I've been soaking up most of my style-spo from the 90's grunge scene, but other than that, kicking back with some school-yard dungarees have never been more prevalent for the Spring/Summer. Once again, apologies for being so M.I.A. it's been a hectic few months! Following my trip to Paris, I was frantically putting together a fashion show with a couple of friends, then had to revise and sit my exams... a whirlwind of sleepless nights.

Hope you've all been well in the blogisphere! If I'm not around blogger as often as I'd like, be sure to follow me on Instagram and Tumblr!

Paris

Sharon Tate in Paris, 1968

I apologize profusely for my absence in blogging! I've been living in denial and reluctance, thinking it's only been a few days since my last post, followed by postponing post after post... I truly am a procrastinator extraordinaire. Confessions aside, I will be embarking on an art trip to Paris in T-minus two days! I'm excited to sit daintily in outdoor cafe's, stroll alongside the Seine, visit the Musée Rodin, and probably personate Tommy Ton in taking style stalker photos. It'll be my second trip to Paris since the age before I discovered the meaning of a baguette, so in a sense it will be my first time to truly appreciate La Ville-Lumière. I'm currently in the midst of packing, which is arguably the most terrifying part of traveling, so if you have any tips and tricks on what to pack for Paris or just what to keep my eyes peeled for, let me know in the comments!

Have a great week everyone!

Outfit photos by Zoe S.

Top - 2nd hand Givenchy // Skirt - South Korea // Shoes - Sam Edelman // Bag - Coach // Rings - Swarovski & thrift

A belated post, one you might've already glimpsed at on Bryant &or Zoe's blog. Lately I've been finding myself in the same bubble as these two rascals, which inevitably means I've been picking up on their trait of posing in public and learning to appreciate the critiquing looks from bustling bystanders. We attended the Steve Madden event at Central Central, aprés-photoshooting, where we had the pleasure of seeing models teeter and twirl in lacquered Spring heels, as well as meeting other fellow bloggers - one of the perks of having a HK fashion blogger community is that they all flock to a certain event, allowing me to practice my no-fail ice breaker, "Sorry to bother you, but I love what you're wearing!" (In all honesty, of course.)

Hope everyone's having a lovely week!

Without further ado - a photo diary of my trip to Singapore! It's a tradition for my family and I to head there during the festive Chinese New Year, so it's nothing new but here's a concoction of Singapore skylines, CNY delicacies, and what not. Also found a Balmain-esque shirt, which was so alluring but later figured it was a bit too baroque and embellished to be worn more than once. That 'once' ergo being in the fitting room.

Hope everyone's been having a lovely week!

// Collar shirt (underneath) - Korea // Ombré spiked jumper - Topshop // Pleather pants - Bershka // Shoes - Topshop //

It's been a while since a proper outfit post, but without further ado I am shamefully unveiling a rather 'dated' look (I've actually kept this in my photo library for a couple of weeks). Funnily enough, I was passing by Forever 21 when I saw a replica of this Topshop jumper I bought in the summer - the resemblance was uncanny! But it then prompted my memory of this outfit, and my intention to post it. I'm currently in Singapore for the Asian phenomenon that is Chinese New Year, which explains the dwindling frequency of posts... but honestly it's just been a consecutive number of busy months so I apologize! However I will be posting more once I am reunited with my camera and co.

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines day, whether it was spent loving yourself or someone else!

Lately...

(Images via Tumblr)

I've developed an obsession for Sky Ferreira. My little obsessions or girl-crushes as some may say, tend to shift between Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and Mila Kunis. To be honest, my girl-crushes simply stem from the fact that they are out-worldly gorgeous; shallow I know, but let's be honest. We all have our quirky infatuations. Now, back to Ferreira. Not really one for her music, I've only heard one song (which isn't really valid since it was a remix) but after seeing countless pictures of her around, I've grown to love her appearance. Lately I've been more attracted to the grungier side of things, and I'm really digging the way Sky looks - dark lips, under eye brown eyeshadow, disheveled hair. Not really the orthodox way of girls seeming "pretty" by covering up dark eyes and bubblegum lipstick, but I think the real and minimal, is an understated beauty.

And of course with inspiration comes my feeble and mediocre attempt to recreate her look on a Sunday morning. Picture not included.

Some of my Jan-jams for your thirsty ears. A medley of techno-electro, indie, rock and what not! The last three were played at HKFW'13; I got by with a little help from my friend: Shazam. Anyways, sit back in your printed shirt, grab that Dr. Pepper, pull back those shades, and enjoy!
